Pricing & Estimates

Q: Why are your prices listed as "indicative" or "guide prices"?

A: No two properties are identical. Factors like heavy algae buildup, restricted access (such as working over conservatories), the height of your windows, and how long it has been since your last clean all affect the time and equipment required. Listing guide prices helps us remain fair—you only pay for the exact level of work your property needs.

Q: Do you charge more for a first-time or one-off clean?

A: Yes, typically. If your windows, gutters, or exterior surfaces haven't been professionally cleaned in over six months, they require a deep "restoration" clean to cut through built-up traffic film, moss, and grime. Once this baseline is established, regular maintenance cleans are much faster and are offered at a heavily discounted rate.

Q: Why do you recommend sending us a photo of the job via WhatsApp?

A: It is the absolute fastest way to get an accurate price! A quick photo of your oven, carpet, car interior, or window layout tells us everything we need to know. Sending a photo helps by:

  • Speeding up the pricing process: Instead of waiting for a callback or an on-site visit, we can often send you an accurate, fixed estimate within minutes.

  • Ensuring an accurate quote: It allows us to see the exact size, material, condition, and any potential access challenges beforehand so there are never any unexpected surprises on the day.

  • Helping us plan: Seeing the job in advance ensures we bring the exact right professional-grade detergents and specialized tools needed to get the best possible result for your specific setup.

Window & Gutter Cleaning

Q: Do you clean the uPVC frames and sills, or just the glass?

A: Our standard window cleaning service always includes washing the glass, frames, and sills. If your frames have severe, deep-set orange or green algae staining, we also offer a specialized uPVC restoration service to bring them back to bright white.

Q: How often should I have my gutters cleared?

A: We highly recommend having your gutters inspected and cleared at least once a year—ideally in late autumn after the leaves have fallen—to prevent blockages, water overflow, and costly damp issues in your home.

Logistics & Peace of Mind

Q: Do I need to be home when you carry out the service?

A: This depends on whether you have booked an external or internal service:

  • For External Services (Windows, Gutters): No, you do not need to be at home. All we ask is that you ensure we have clear, unlocked access to the exterior of your property (such as leaving side gates unlocked). We will always send a courtesy text the day before to let you know we are coming, and we can email your invoice and accept payment online.

  • For Internal Services (Carpets, Upholstery, Ovens): Yes, you will generally need to be home to let us in. If you can't be there, you will need to make arrangements for a neighbor, friend, or family member to open the property for us and lock up securely after we leave.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled cleaning day?

A: It depends on the type of service you have booked:

  • External Services: If the weather is severe (such as torrential rain or high winds) and your job is of an external nature, we will contact you to reschedule the appointment for safety and quality reasons.

  • Internal Services: If your booking is of an internal nature (such as carpet or upholstery cleaning), severe weather does not affect your appointment at all, and we will carry out the work exactly as scheduled.

Equipment & Methods

Q: What kind of equipment and products do you use?

A: We invest in premium, industry-leading machinery to deliver a level of clean you simply can't achieve with standard domestic equipment. Our carpet and upholstery cleaning setup includes:

  • Pro CRB (Counter-Rotating Brush) Vacuum Cleaners: These heavy-duty machines use dual contra-rotating brushes to open up carpet fibers, lifting deeply embedded dirt, hair, and grit from the very base of the pile before we even start washing.

  • Hot Water Extraction Pro Extractors: Rather than just spraying soapy water, our professional extraction machines inject heated water deep into the fibers and use high-powered vacuums to immediately suck it back out, pulling years of grime and stains with it and leaving carpets only minimally damp.

  • Professional-Grade, Eco-Friendly Detergents: We use specialized, non-toxic cleaning solutions designed to break down tough traffic-lane grease and stubborn spots without leaving sticky residues behind, ensuring your carpets stay cleaner for longer and remain completely safe for pets and children.

Preparing for Your Visit

Q: Do I need to prepare the rooms or move furniture before you arrive?

A: To help us deliver the most thorough and efficient clean, we kindly ask that you prepare the areas beforehand by doing the following:

  • Clear small and fragile items: Please remove any toys, shoes, loose cables, and breakables (like lamps, ornaments, or glass items) from the floor and low tables.

  • De-clutter the space: A clear floor space allows our high-powered Pro CRB pre-vacuum cleaners and hot extraction wands to move freely and safely.

  • Moving furniture: We are more than happy to help move lighter items such as coffee tables, dining chairs, and small, lightweight sofas to clean underneath them. However, we cannot move heavy, bulky furniture (such as large wardrobes, heavy sofas, or TV units) due to safety and insurance regulations. If you would like the carpet cleaned underneath these larger items, please ensure they are safely moved out of the room before our arrival.

  • We love pets! We absolutely love animals and don't mind them being around at all. However, for their own safety and comfort, we do recommend keeping them in a secure, separate room while we work. Our professional machinery can be quite loud, and because we often need to keep external doors slightly ajar to run our extraction hoses, we want to make sure your furry friends don't get startled or accidentally slip outside.
